Academy Award-winning Charlize have just completed her latest movie ¨The Road¨ helmed by John Hillcoat (The Proposition), she plays the wife of Viggo Mortensen (The Lord of the RIngs-trilogy). Also in the film is Guy Pearce, Robert Duvall and Bob Jennings. It will hit theaters on the 26th of November this year.

The Origins of Max Payne

I have earlier talked and shown a bit from where the upcomin Mike Newell-film “Prince of Persia” is based upon. So now i am doin it again, but this time i will show a video of the computer/video-game that upcoming action-thriller “Max Payne” is based upon.

“Max Payne” was first realased in Late 2001 by finnish developer Remedy, and was later also realased for homeconsoles such as the Playstation 2 and the X-box. A sequel was published three years later. And the trailer below is from that very game.

Max Payne will hit teathers this Fall. Starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.

Nicolas Cage in another meaningless action-film?

Does anyone actually remember the time when Nicolas Cage was a great actor performing in great movies? The time where he didnt took every job he was offered, and not have that crazy haircut he have today. Well, i do and that makes me so sad. The Wicker Man, Ghost Rider and Next – Only a few really bad movies Cage done reasently and it doesnt really seems to be a one time mistake in choice of roles. If we look at some upcoming films starring Cage we see everything from movies against 50 Cent to meaningless action movies a above 40y-actor shouldnt be doing in the first place.

But yeah, Nicolas Cage do have some interesting projects in the pipeline as well, which makes me glad. He will do a film together with Roman Polanski and he have the lead against Rose Byrne in the new Alex Proyas film, even though Alex Proyas did do the terrible I, Robot – he also done fantastic films such as The Crow and Dark City. The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, ms. Rumer Willis may not be as gifted as her parents but atleast her celebrity status as the daughter of two of the 1980´s biggest moviestars can give her some gigs here and there. Rumer have recently finished work in movies “Whore” (against Megan Fox) and “Whild Cherry” (starring Rob Schneider) and she also got herself a role in upcomin Haylie Duff movie “Slightly Single in L.A”. Jessica Simpson which have had a few fallbacks lately, especially with her “ongoing” movie career may not have had all of the luck on her side lately but Wow, does she look good or what? Jessica is currently seen as herself in Mike Myers comedy “The Love Guru” and next month we well see her in a all new comedy called “Major Movie Star” , directed by Steve Miner, mostly “known” for his work with horror movies such as Day of the Dead, Lake Placid, Halloween and so on. How that movie turn out we have to wait and see.

Terminator Salvation teaser

Still today their is few action movies that can compete with the exellence that is Terminator 2: Judgment Day. But i must say that i have a good feeling about the new Terminator-trilogy that is about to debut next summer. Christian Bale has proven himself as an excellent actor skills with both Drama and Action. The teaser below basicly makes my fictional backhair rise..so yeah, you get the point. The one thing that i are a bit worried about is the fact that Charlies Angels-helmer McG is directing it. But hey, weirder things have happened then that a so far unimpressing director gets lucky, right?
